Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war reporter. She was an official CBS News correspondent from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece on 2012 Benghazi as "the most regrettable mistake I've made in 10 years." In 2019, she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. [4] On January 2020, she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She said that she was "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan was a student as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television in Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four year in the company, she began freelance journalism. The assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. She was a reporter for CNN and reported on events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo conflict.
