Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn, born 19th August 1965, is an American actor. Her most famous character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The show ended after its seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film appearances include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007), and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian. Sedgwick was of English descent. Sedgwick has identified herself as Jewish and has stated that she is a part of Passover seders.
