Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, who was born on November 24, 1981 is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being an presidential candidate as well as a TV host at MSNBC. She is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and a former co-host on The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball has been married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that her renewed fascination with politics due to her experience as a mother during the 2008 primaries. Additionally, she also witnessed the US presidential election in 2008 while working in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on residents of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. In May 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
